Exciting news: We’re hiring a new, full-time Data Specialist within our Office of Institutional Research at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED)! 

This individual will primarily collaborate with university-wide stakeholders to assist with course and instructor evaluations and surveys, help oversee our electronic survey platform (Qualtrics) and provide consultations and trainings for users, complete a variety of data and reporting projects, use Microsoft Excel and other related software to collect, manage, analyze and visualize data, and be an advocate for strong data quality and continuous quality improvement.

Minimum required qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of one year of assessment, quantitative data, or research experience, or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; ability to learn and/or quickly adapt to new software or systems   

Other “nice-to-have” qualifications include:

• Survey software experience (we use Qualtrics)
• Experience working with data in Banner or a different ERP
• Experience with (or strong interest in) data visualization-related software such as Power BI, Envisio, Tableau, Google Looker, etc.
