    Kent State University is looking for an IR Information Officer to provide crucial institutional statistics to academic and administrative units; design and conduct analytical institutional research projects.  Duties include: developing and providing statistical information for reports, documents and publications; building relationships with other units on campus to identify decision support needs; working with campus partners throughout a project lifecycle from initial inquiry to sharing findings and results.

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of experience with a primary focus on research, analysis or statistics.  Knowledge of: institutional effectiveness concepts, statistical principles and database/data collection best practices; data applications within a higher education environment.  Skill in: statistical analysis and implementing projects with skill in assessment of program initiatives.

    Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher and three years of experience in institutional research or effectiveness.  Proven experience using SQL to query databases and PowerBI to author and update reports and dashboards.  Experience working in a multi-campus university environment.
