Do you have a unique approach or experience that could benefit others in the field? You don’t need to be an expert to present! Whether you’ve developed effective data governance policies, formed strong inter-office collaborations, discovered innovative methods for sharing information, or had a transformative “AHA” moment, we want to hear from you! We’re also open to hearing about topics you’d like to lead discussions on.

Simply fill out the Call for Proposals form, and we’ll help determine the best format (presentation, panel, Q&A, Birds of a Feather, etc.) for your topic.

The OAIRP Spring 2026 Conference theme, “Connecting the Pieces: Collaboration for the Win,” celebrates the power of shared knowledge, partnership, and collective problem-solving in institutional research and planning.

Our work is rarely done in isolation. Each of us holds a piece of the puzzle — a dataset, a method, a question, a lesson learned. It’s when we bring those pieces together that clarity emerges and real progress happens. This conference is designed to create space for those connections — across institutions, roles, experience levels, and ideas.

As a fully virtual conference, Spring is uniquely positioned to be OAIRP’s most accessible and collaborative gathering of the year. The virtual format removes barriers, broadens participation, and creates opportunities to engage with peers you may not otherwise cross paths with. Whether you’re sharing a success, unpacking a challenge, or learning from someone else’s approach, the Spring conference is the ideal space to connect, contribute, and collaborate.

This year, we’ll explore how collaboration strengthens our work — from cross-departmental partnerships and peer networks to shared tools, practices, and perspectives. Together, we’ll focus on learning from one another, aligning our individual pieces, and building something stronger as a community.
